About Hyde Park
Hyde Park, located on the south side of the Chicago is south of the Loop and east, bordering to Lake Michigan. The neighborhood has gained particular fame as the home of President Obama, who lived in Hyde Park for years (now he has a home in Kenwood). The Museum of Science and Industry, University of Chicago, and The Hyde Park Art Center are located in the community and good old Soldier Field is just around the corner. 
Today, the name Hyde Park is officially applied to the neighborhood from 51st Street (Hyde Park Blvd.) to the neighborhood between 59th and 60th.
